Q – I’ve just had my surgery, can I use a scar balm?
A – We would advise you start using a scar balm once you are scab free (when you run your finger along the scar and it is smooth). A silicone-based balm works great and it is advised you use them for at least 3 months. It’s best to treat a scar as early as possible to get the most out of your balms so - act quickly once the site is ready .
